Valentines Day
VFW Post #10060 in Montville will be having a Valentines dinner/dance on Friday February 10th at 7:00. The dinner being served is twin lobsters followed by dancing with the music being provided by the band High Times. I've have seen this band before, and they are very good.  FLYER....
Autumn Letendre
Country singer Autumn Letendre's husband, Marine Captain Brian Letendre, was KIA during his second tour of duty in Iraq. NEWS STORY....
The captain, with his wife and child had resided in New Britain for about eighteen months while assigned to the Marine Reserve Unit in  Plainville. In honor of her husband, she wrote a song called "Raise Your Flag", which can be viewed here.
